RECON RODS / STEELHEAD PLUGGING
PERFECT PLUGGER.
Built to show you what your plug is doing. Built to load when a steelhead takes it.
ILLUSTRATIVE FINISHED-ROD CONCEPT · NOT A PRODUCT PHOTOBUILT FOR ONE JOB
SEE THE PLUG.
FEEL THE LOAD.
When the plug is working, the responsive tip shows its steady rhythm. When a steelhead takes it, the rod loads with the fish instead of immediately locking into heavy backbone. That controlled response is intended to help absorb head shakes, surges, and direction changes on treble hooks.
The custom spiral-wrapped guide train moves the line beneath the blank as it loads, reducing rod roll under pressure in a casting setup.
